Fixed Asset Location Class (FLCS) is optional and used for reporting purposes only. Location classes group related location codes. The assignment of locations to location classes occurs in Fixed Asset Location (FLOC).
Location Class
Key field. If adding a new class, enter a unique code. If changing or deleting an existing line, enter the appropriate code.
Name
Optional. Enter the name as you want it to appear on reports, up to 30 characters.
Short Name
Optional. Enter the name that you want to appear on reports when there is insufficient space for the full name, up to 12 characters.
