NREPC has a contract with UK to develop a "Home Page"

about programs within the cabinet. If you would like
to have links to information useful to your clients
   and "customers," read on:

You can be a developer of web pages, shaping your
own content, guiding your own information.
   Developers will have the following:

     1. A Web Browser such as NETSCAPE or MOSAIC that
will give you access to the World Wide Web.

     2. A shareware utilities that will make it easy to
edit and design "web pages" that contain your
        information.

     3. A freeware utility that will allow you to create
and edit the graphics used in World Wide Web
        documents.

     4. A handbook that will provide you with
reference on creating an effective web presence.

     5. a set of "templates" that will allow your web pages
to fit in with other cabinet pages and make your
information more readily available to the public.

We are looking for VOLUNTEERS in each branch that are
interested in this publishing project. These volunteers should
have access to a networked Windows Workstation or Macintosh
computer. Familiarity with Word Perfect 5.1 (or later) and DOS
     file management is prefered.

We will hold two face-to-face meetings to get started.
A formal training workshop will be held in February with
UK computer scientists designing our web project.

Branches interested in participating should contact
Ken Cooke with the name and E-mail address of their selected
representatives at Ext 473 or kywwp@igc.org
