How to send Graphic Images To Water Watch
- Aquire your images with a digital camera, video capture system or scanned photograph.
- Convert your images to JPEG Format and save as *.jpg.(where * is your file name)
- FTP your images to: ncc.uky.edu/incoming/!waterpics/
- E-mail us at kywwp@igc.org to let us know they are there.
We can also accept GIF format images.
Please send only files you wouldn't mind us using in these web pages.
Images we like include:
- an upstream and downstream shot.
- a closeup of a pollution problem you are concerned about.
- a group shot of testing participants (in action).
- a closeup of your collection pan with critters caught if you are doing the biological monitoring.
Please keep file sizes reasonable. Please don't send 10 megabytes of files without warning us first!
after you upload your files, and we retrieve them, we will attempt to include them, along with your
narrative report sent via E-mail as a web page everyone participating can see.
