The CMRS Board is pleased to invite applications for a portion of the CMRS Fund from those jurisdictions in Kentucky that provide or are in the process of developing enhanced 911 services for their citizens. For this purpose, the CMRS Board is providing the attached application and guidelines for certification to assist those 911 centers or PSAPs (Public Safety Answering Points) in successfully complying with the requirements of administrative regulation 202 KAR 6:050E. PSAP Certification. Also included are two sample documents, one of which is a letter that may be secured from the PSAP's 911 contract provider and used in lieu of certain required documentation. The other document is a sample non-disclosure agreement that may be used to meet the statute's intention to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information provided by wireless and wireline telephone carriers.
