Please follow the following steps to get your web pages on line.
- Contact Webcore at the beginning of the project.
- Be sure you know your Give a disk of your draft pages to Maleva Chamberlain for content review.
- Give a disk of the reviewed web pages to Ken Cooke for technical review.
- Send a memo to the division webmaster through your supervisor,
branch manager and division director authorizing the files for release (just as you would for a regular print document)
- Include all the files on a disk with this memo.
When the files on disk and authorization memo are received
by the division webmaster, s/he will create the subdirectory
on the web server and transfer your files to the web server via FTP.
Keeping Files Current
- Content providers and their developers are responsible for keeping
files current.
- Constantly review your pages to be sure links are working.
- Re-edit new draft files as necessary.
- Submit updates for review in the same fashion as originals.
- Once approval memo is received, new files will be posted by division webmaster.
For frequent postings of a routine nature, such as KPDES
Public Notices, a more streamlined process may be developed
with the approval of the division director and branch manager involved.
The Cabinet Webcore will of course reserve the right to
review our material.
