would sell you any manner of food or drink. but it
was not necessary on this line. A dining car
served excelent Russian style meals. Pictured
below is roasted chicken for about $6.00 (15000 Rubles).
The food was served by friendly staff who were
quite interested in the computer equipment we were
using to process our images for these web pages.
they said they had a computer at home with VGA monitor
running DOS 5.1. We traded using a table and their
electricity for several hours for a disk with their
pictures on it. (we sure hope it worked at home!) We have
to make a return Trip on July 15.
