River to River Exchange Activities
June-July 1996
A small child plays in the creek in her community,
Like any child anywhere in the world she is drawn to
the flowing water. It is a source of interest, recreation
and exploration. It is also a source of her future.
This stream is a tributary of the Don River in the Southern
Steppe region of Russia. A group of Russian and American
science teachers are spending their summer break exploring
this region and it's environmental chalenges. For more
