Kentucky Calendar of Events

Here's another professional growth necessity, professional development. This section of the Behavior Home Page will provide links to the Kentucky Department of Education, The Kentucky Center for School Safety, and The Kentucky Council for Children with Behavior Disorders Training Calendars.

The Kentucky Council for Children with Behavior Disorders (KyCCBD)

The Kentucky Council for Children with Behavior Disorders (KyCCBD) provides many professional development opportunities. Perhaps the most noted is the Behavior Institute. KyCCBD also organizes behavioral strands at the Kentucky Exceptional Children's Conference held in November each year and the Kentucky Council for Exceptional Children's Conference. In addition, KYCCBD is in the process of organizing regional professional development opportunities.

Kentucky Center for School Safety (CSS) Training Calendar

All of the Schools and Communities training events sponsored by Kentucky's Center for School Safety have been approved by the Department of Education for Instructional Leadership Credit and by the Kentucky School Boards Association for the school board training requirement. You are able to register for training on-line.
