Teacher Fellowship Program
The School To Work Teacher Fellowship is a program designed to have teachers spend time with other professionals and see how they perform their technical skills. These authentic experiences can be transferred into the classroom where the student will be the ultimate recipient of the teachers new knowledge. The School to Work Teacher Fellowship program has enabled me to develop a strong partnership with the Kentucky Division of Water through the Water Watch Program. Development of Web pages and collaborative experiences for my students has been the focus of my fellowship. As a classroom teacher I want my students to be successful contributors to society and be prepared to meet the expectations of our workplace. I am confident that bringing new, quality experiences to the students will help them achieve the level of world class students. The School To Work opportunities that the Kentucky Water Watch Program has provided for the students include shadowing, mentorships and cooperative education.
